BIO

BIO
I am an architectural photographer specializing in commercial and residential properties in both urban and rural settings. Working with architects, interior designers, and landscape architects, my images have appeared in advertisements and in books, brochures, magazines, social media outlets, websites, won awards and as fine art in museums and in corporate art collections.

My images of homes, buildings, hotels, and resorts highlight the integrity of the architecture, design, and landscape while enhancing the settings with natural and supplemental light. From details to the environment at large, I work to capture the essence of each space: e.g. from the relationship between traditional and new materials to the community spaces with the people who pass through them.

Based in Aspen, Colorado and Tucson, Arizona. I work locally and internationally. My assignment and stock work, along with my love for travel has taken me to the plains of Africa, the Amazon, to Antarctica, Europe and across much of the United States.

I received an MFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art and a BA from Brooks Institute of Photography. A career highlight includes my teaching photographic workshops nationally and internationally. I have called Aspen my home since 1986.
